Our beloved Patrick Selfridge passed away at age 52 on Dec. 30, 2021, at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital with his wife, Juliana, and his family by his side.

Patrick was born on Feb. 2, 1969, in Butler. He moved to Los Angeles in 1988 to study music.

His passion in life was music and helping others create the tone they desired. He was an endless supporter of his fellow musicians and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone he spoke with was heard and appreciated. There is no other person who took his love of music, the history surrounding music, and those who created music, more seriously.

Patrick’s enthusiasm for his profession touched the lives of many, but his love of family and friends was no comparison.

He was a devoted and loving husband to Juliana for 24 years. Their love story began in 1992 and continues on.

Patrick was taken from us all, far too soon, but he is remembered every day by his friends and family.

SELFRIDGE — There will be a memorial service held for Patrick Selfridge, who died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. It will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at Forest Lawn.

The family is asking for thoughts and prayers as they grieve the passing of their most dearly loved Patrick.

As a memorial to his life, we ask that in lieu of flowers, you donate to the Butler High School Music program in Patrick’s honor.
