Szumigalski

Dixie Szumigalski, 68, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday.

Born July 24, 1943, in Ohio, she was the daughter of Harry Swimley and Marjorie White Santora.

Dixie was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot and the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company, where she served on the board of directors, was secretary of the Fire Brigade and also served with the Fire Police.

Surviving are her daughter, Margie C. Clarke of Maryland; two stepbrothers, Joseph Santora and Ernest Santora, both of California; and her granddaughter, Samantha Clarke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Szumigalski, who died on Sept. 9, 2003; her parents; and her stepfather, Nick Santora.

<B>SZUMIGALSKI</B> — Friends of Dixie Szumigalski, who passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
