Franklin Lester 'Frank' Long II

Franklin Lester “Frank” Long II, 64, of Butler passed away Saturday at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare.

He was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Franklin L. Long I and Mary (Hughes) Long.

Frank was a member of the First United Methodist Church and he attended the God's Country services. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and he had recently worked for the Wayne W. Sell Corp.

Surviving are his wife, Jane (Reges) Long, who he married Aug. 14, 1980; five children, Mary (Ken) Rivers, David (Mandy) Long, John Long, Tim (Sue) Long and Rick Long; four grandchildren, Bryan and Dylan Rivers and Noah and Devon Long; a sister, Emma (Terry) Foringer; a brother, Walter Henry (Diana) Long; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>LONG</B> — A memorial service for Franklin Lester “Frank” Long II, who passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, will be in the chapel at Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road, Butler, at 11 a.m. Friday.Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Funeral arrangements are handled by <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
