Dorothy Mae Jordan Kriebel

Dorothy Mae Jordan Kriebel, 88, of Chesapeake, Va., formerly of Freeport Road, Butler, passed away on the evening of May 15 in Chesapeake, Va., of natural causes.

Born on May 21, 1923, in Perry Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Israel Clyde and Catherine Barger Jordan.

She was the widow of the late Homer R. Kriebel.

Mrs. Kriebel was a devout Christian and was long affiliated with the Crosswinds Alliance Church on Freeport Road near Butler.

She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Kriebel Johns and her husband, Tom, and Karen Kriebel, all of Chesapeake, Va.; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Ruth, Mildred Esther Jordan and Ethel Grace Porter; two brothers, Harry Lester and John Jordan; and one infant sister.

KRIEBEL — Visitation for Dorothy Mae Jordan Kriebel, who passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker. Additional visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Crosswinds Alliance Church, Freeport Road, Butler, where services will be at 3 p.m. The burial will be in Mt.
