Helen Alice McKindree
Helen Alice McKindree of Butler passed away from renal failure at 10:05 a.m. Feb. 16 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born in Worthington to the late Lewis Warner and the late Mary Hortert Warner.
Mrs. McKindree was a member of the North Street Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Grand Cross of Color.
Mrs. McKindree and her husband were the owners of the McKindree Feed Store and Doc’s Gun Shop.
Mrs. McKindree is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Robert) Eyberger of Newark, Del., and Patricia Hoye of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren, Amy (Joseph) Brennan, Gretchen (Mark) Farrall, and Stacy and Jeff Hoye; two great-grandchildren, Grace Olivia Farrall and Peter Brennan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Ray McKindree, who she married in 1940, and who passed away on June 6, 1999; and two brothers, Joseph and Lewis Warner.
MCKINDREE — There will be no public visitation or funeral for Helen Alice McKindree, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012.
