Eugene H. Milich, 82, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in McKees Rocks on June 7, 1930, and was the son of the late Nicholas and Theresa Sarzinski Milich.

He was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Eugene was formerly employed as a student counselor at Carnegie Mellon University, Robert Morris University and the Butler County Community College. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Eugene was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Blankenstein Milich, to whom he was married for 42 years; and one daughter, Ellen Jean Milich of Butler.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Michaels.
