Mary M. Hamilton
Mary M. Young Hamilton, 60, died at home in Butler on Wednesday of natural causes.
She was born on Jan. 31, 1952, in Butler to the late John and Rosemary Strobel Hamilton. She graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1969.
Mary also attended the Butler County Community College and held several different jobs in her career. At the time of her death, she was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed camping, bird watching, cooking, gardening, singing and dancing. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her children and grandchild.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lori A. (Young) Wallace of Newnan, Ga.; her son, William E. Young III and his wife, Shannon Kidney-Young; one grandchild, William E. Young IV of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Francis Hamilton, Harold Hamilton and Gerry Hamilton, all of Butler; one sister, Veronica (Hamilton) Beck of Florida; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hamilton, and one sister, Jean (Hamilton) Peters.
HAMILTON — Relatives and friends of Mary M. Young Hamilton, who died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, are welcome at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel, 432 Center Ave., Butler.
