Mary Monday Baccari, 90, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born in Butler on April 16, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Tony and Angelina Mariano Monday Sr.

Mary was formerly employed in the child welfare office of Butler County and was also a former bookkeeper at Monday’s Shoes.

She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Angela Baccari Boggs and her husband, David, of Amelia Island, Fla.; two brothers, Tony Monday Jr. and his wife, Edith, of Butler and Nicholas Monday of Butler; and three grandchildren, Nicole Baccari Mortimer of Amelia Island, Fla., Sarah Boggs of Amelia Island, Fla., and Justin Boggs of Cleveland, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Monday Sr.

BACCARI — Friends of Mary Monday Baccari, who died Thursday, June 28, 2012, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Saint Michael Cemetery.The bereavement group of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday to conduct a scriptural wake service.To leave an online condolence, visit www.martinfh.net.
