Dwight E. Simpson Jr., 75, formerly of Plum Borough, passed away Tuesday at St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born June 19, 1937, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Dwight E. and Mary (Plitt) Simpson Sr.

Until his retirement, Dwight was a bond manager for the Pennsylvania National Insurance Company.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Mary Ann Stewart of Freedom; his three dear grandchildren, Kelly Stewart, Ian Stewart and his wife, Melissa, and Kevin Stewart; his precious great-grandchild, Kenna; and his three brothers, Larry Simpson, Ronnie Simpson and George Duff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Loralee Ann Simpson, who passed away May 3, 2011.
