Anthony J. Jakubowski Jr., 72, of Valencia passed away Thursday at his home.

Born June 15, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Anthony J. “Jim” Jakubowski Sr. and Stella (Brzuska) Jakubowski.

He worked as a laborer for Aetos Construction. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 373 and the Harley Owners Group. He won the Golden Gloves as a boxer. He also was a bull rider and bareback and saddle bronc rider.

Surviving are his wife, Carol B. (Borer) Jakubowski, who he married Oct. 3, 1983; his daughters, Marsha of Jacksonville, Fla., Diana LeBlanc of Jacksonville, Fla., Leslie Alcorn of West Virginia and Lauren Jakubowski of Pittsburgh; his brother, Robert Jakubowski of Shaler; and his sister, Carmella Avon of Allison Park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni, and a brother, Donald.
