Mary K. Newman, 81, of Butler, formerly of Clay Township, passed away at 9:08 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

She was born May 10, 1931, in Blythedale, Allegheny County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Noel and the late Anna Kazmierski Noel. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Bacco of Monroeville.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Newman, who passed away July 13, 2011.

NEWMAN— Friends of Mary K. Newman, who passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, will be received at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 6 to 8 p.m. today. A blessing service will follow at 8 p.m. with Father James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates in Mount Chestnut.
