William Hollefreund

William Frank Hollefreund, 64, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler, June 11, 1948, he was the son of the late Walter A. and Helen M. Poole Hollefreund.

He was a retired mill-wright at Butler Armco, now AK Steel, where he was employed for more than 30 years.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army. William enjoyed going to the family cottage at Tidioute, Pa., and was an avid Steelers fan.

He is survived by one son, William W. Hollefreund and his wife, Tina, of Henderson, Nev.; one brother, Thomas W. Hollefreund and his wife, Diana, of Butler; one sister, Barbara H. Hollefreund of Henderson, Nev.; three nephews, Thomas W. Hollefreund of Butler, Brian S. Hollefreund of Butler and Eric C. Hollefreund of Butler; one aunt, Bertha Hollefreund of Butler; two great-nephews; and three great-nieces.

HOLLEFREUND — There was no visitation for William Frank Hollefreund, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. Funeral services were Saturday at the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, with Senior Pastor Jeff Harris of Crossroad Community officiating. Burial was in Butler County Memorial Park.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
