Wind dislodges panels from PSU scoreboard
STATE COLLEGE, — High winds caused some panels from a scoreboard under renovation at Penn State's Beaver Stadium to dislodge and blow out of the facility.
The university said no one was hurt. At least one car was damaged in a parking lot, and the school shut down two nearby roads as a precaution.
Workers are installing new panels on the scoreboard. There was no work Wednesday due to a wind advisory, though part of the scoreboard was left open because of the ongoing work.
A team spokesman says there should be no problems for No. 14 Penn State's next game Saturday.
