Tate and Becky Pacek’s home in Saxonburg will be lit with red, white and blue all summer long.
The couple first set up permanent lights around the house during Christmas and change the colors based on the time of the year.
“We’ve just been festive with them since then,” said Becky Pacek.
The Paceks’ first year exhibiting the patriotic display was partly motivated by America’s 250th anniversary, Pacek said.
“Go big or go home,” she said about celebrating the semiquincentennial.
The lighting creates excitement in the community, Pacek said.
“A lot of people in town look forward to driving by it,” she added.
