Edward Paul Mielke Jr., 86, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, passed away Monday.

He was born May 7, 1926, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edward Paul Sr. and Marie (Burger) Mielke.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret Jean (Fusek) Mielke; the loving father of Diane (John) Crockett, Paul (Natalie) Mielke and Raymond (Denise) Mielke; and the grandfather of Beth (Michael) Cantrell, Edward Crockett, Cassandra Mielke, Ronald Mielke, Thomas Mielke, Sharon Mielke and James Mielke.

Ed was a hospice volunteer, a member of North Hills Square Dance Club, a graduate of Oliver High School and a veteran of World War II. He retired after 43 years with Duquesne Light Co. and enjoyed camping and travel.
