Robert L. 'Bob' Early
Robert L. “Bob” Early of West Sunbury passed away Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh after a short illness.
He was born Feb. 16, 1946, in Butler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as an electrician from Armco Steel in February 2002 after 37 years.
Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol Young Early, as well as one son, Timothy J. Early, who lives in Slippery Rock; his mother, Genevieve Early of Hilliards; two grandchildren, Ryan and Tylyn; two great-grandchildren, Lacy and Mason; his sister, Mrs. Robert (Deborah) Saper of West Sunbury; and three brothers, George Early of Hilliards, Paul Early of Butler and James Early of Hilliards.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Early, and one sister, Wanda Gibson.
Bob enjoyed hunting, spending time at camp with his friends and, most of all, his family. As he loved to be surrounded by his family during his life, he asked that there be no viewing at the time of his death.
