Frank L. Slupe Jr.
Frank L. Slupe Jr., 79, of Huntsville, Ala., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Slupe served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War.
He graduated from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia and worked for Boeing and later for CSC.
He was an elder of the Dwelling Place Church. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, a sentiment that was shared by all.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Slupe.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carole; children, Patty, Frank and Bob; nine grandchildren; brother, Charles of Virginia; and sister, Velma Baxter of Butler.
