Metzger

Janet H. Haine Metzger, 70, of Harmony passed away Monday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Born June 3, 1942, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John I. and Claire E. (Ruby) Haine.

Janet had a great love for her family, but especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William F. Metzger of Harmony; her daughter, Lori J. Moore and her husband, Edward, of Cranberry Township; her son, William J. Metzger and his wife, Patty, of Portersville; her sister, Joretta Kennedy and her husband, David, of Middle Lancaster; her brother, Larry Haine and his wife, Debbie, of Middle Lancaster; and two grandchildren, Peyton and Brady Moore.

METZGER — Janet H. Haine Metzger passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Her family will welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople with Father Lawrence R. Smith as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at the Grace Church Cemetery in Harmony.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, PA 16063, or of the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
