James C. “Bud” Swinderman, 93, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away Dec. 24, 2012.

He was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Swinderman; beloved husband of the late Helen; father of John Swinderman of Winlaw, British Columbia, Canada, Alma Mills (Denver) of Albuquerque, N.M., Lorraine Brown (Junnie) of New Braunfels, Texas, and the late Patricia; grandfather of Leo, James “Buddy” and Andrew Gaertner; great-grandfather of five great-grandsons; and brother of the late Alma.

James was born in Pittsburgh in 1919, and he was a World War II veteran.

SWINDERMAN — Friends of James C. “Bud” Swinderman, who passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the George A. Thoma Funeral Home, 10418 Perry Highway, Wexford. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Alphonsus Church, Wexford.
