Thomas Alfred Regrut
Thomas Alfred Regrut, 52, of Butler passed away Monday at the VA Medical Center in Oakland.
Born April 18, 1960, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Virginia A. (Ruckdeschel) Regrut of McMurray and the late Alfred R. Regrut.
Tom was self-employed in the home maintenance business for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Above all, Tom was a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his significant other, Cindy Hufnagel, who cared for him during his yearlong battle, when no one else could be there; two sisters, Glenda Czajkowski of Etna and Gina Fazzini of Finleyville; four brothers, Douglas Regrut of Saxonburg, David Regrut of Baden, Timothy Regrut of Portersville and Alan Regrut of Jacksonville, Fla.; and nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred A. Regrut.
