Lane on I-79 to remain closed until further notice after accident
A northbound I-79 lane near mile marker 91.2 is closed after an accident damaged the bridge, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The affected area is in Lancaster Township, where the interstate crosses over East Lancaster Road.
“This lane will remain closed until further notice as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation assesses and inspects the damage done to the bridge,” the release states.
