Geraldine Williams
Geraldine Bell Williams, 92, of Surfside Beach, S.C., died Thursday at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Born in Monterey, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Samuel H. and Nellie Foringer.
Geraldine grew up in Craigsville, Pa., and was a 1938 graduate of Worthington West Franklin High School in Worthington.
She and her husband owned and operated the Clover Farm Grocery Store in Craigsville. They moved to Florence, S.C., where she worked many years for the Aluminum Ladder Co.
She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and moved to Surfside Beach, S.C., where she enjoyed her family, her dog, Buddie, reading and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Williams; her brothers, Henry, Clarence, Donald and Robert Foringer; and her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Frank Burke.
Survivors include her two sons, Frank L. Williams Jr. (Gwennie) of Hanover, Md., and Henry Raymond Williams of Surfside Beach, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
