Kathryn J. Hughes of Butler passed away at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice after a short stay.

HUGHES — Friends of Kathryn J. Hughes, who passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Kurt Knobel of the Thorn Creek United Methodist Church officiating. Immediately after the funeral, burial will take place in the Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.The officers and members of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 45 will assemble at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a brief Eastern Star Service.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
