Brent A. Fisher, 22, of Oviedo, Fla., grandson of Chicora residents, passed away suddenly on April 12 of meningitis.

Brent was born Jan. 18, 1991, in Butler. He was the son of Kerry T. and Marsha (Barnhart) Fisher.

He was of the Protestant faith.

He attended Haggerty High School. He had a love for cooking and was working at Little Caesars Pizza while making plans to attend culinary school.

In addition to his parents, Brent is survived by his twin brother, Ryan Fisher, and one sister, Kristen Compton, both of Oviedo; his maternal grandparents, Raymond R. and Gladys Barnhart of Chicora; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Fisher of Florida; as well as several aunts, uncles and 10 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harry Fisher.
