Gregory Alan Berteotti
Gregory Alan Berteotti, 54, of Emlenton passed away peacefully Wednesday at his home.
Greg was born Jan. 5, 1959, in Butler and was the son of the late John Berteotti Jr. and Martha Geibel Berteotti.
Greg retired from the U.S. Air Force as a senior master sergeant, where he proudly served his country as a jet engine propulsion craftsman and recruiter. During this time, he also served in support of Operation Desert Storm. Greg's success in recruiting services earned him five silver recruiting badges for his dedication and hard work.
Following his retirement from the Air Force, he drove truck for Savage Trucking. Greg loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, where he spent most of his free time.
Greg is survived by his son, Jonathan Berteotti of West Sunbury; his mother, Martha Berteotti of Butler; two sisters, Cynthia Anne Gregory and her husband, Ron, of Butler and Darlene Berteotti of Boyers; and two brothers, John Michael Berteotti of Karns City and Bernard James Berteotti and his wife, Deborah, of Karns City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, who died in 2011; and three siblings, Anna Louise, who died in 1952, Jean Elizabeth, who died in 1955, and Eric Paul, who died in 1967.
Berteotti — Services and burial for Gregory Alan Berteotti, who passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, will be private at the convenience of the family.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the William F. Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury.
