Robert C. Stierheim, 85, of Saxonburg passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 5, 1927, in McKees Rocks, he was the son of Norman and Leone Wiehe Stierheim.

Bob served in the U.S. Army in Korea.

He worked as a merchandise manager for Sears.

He was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, LaVerne Shea Stierheim, who he married Feb. 2, 1957; his children, Doug (Neta) Stierheim of Fairbanks, Alaska, Tracy Starr of Saxonburg and Greg Stierheim of Brambleton, Va.; his brother, James Stierheim of Coraopolis, Pa.; his grandchildren, Daniel (Martha) Stierheim and Andrew and Lindsey Starr; and two great-granddaughters, Eunice Montes and Katherine Stierheim.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
