Waugaman

Lois M. Waugaman, 83, of Worthington, formerly of Natrona Heights, died Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Tarentum, the daughter of Christopher and Helen (Barker) Warriner.

After graduating from Tarentum High School, Lois met and married the love of her life, Don, and they enjoyed 58 wonderful years together.

Mrs. Waugaman was a member of the First Church of God in Kittanning, where she was very active in church functions and had taught Sunday school.

She volunteered for Family Life Ministries and was a resident of the Rivercliff Terrace Annex.

Lois enjoyed reading and writing letters to everyone from friends to even the presidents of the United States. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband and her family by camping, having picnics and going on road trips. Lois and Don attended all their grandchildren's sporting games and activities.

She will long be remembered as being a servant of the Lord and leaving Christian tracts wherever she went. Among giving out lots of hugs and kisses, she handed out "crosses in your pocket" to everyone she met.

She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Diana Galla and her husband, Joseph, of Sarver and Dolores "Dee" Bell and her husband, Alan, of Worthington; two grandchildren, Holly Brewer and her husband, Joseph, of Smithsburg, Md., and Michael Bell of Fairfax, Va; one great-grandchild, Jackson Brewer; a brother, Chris Warriner of Cabot; and a sister, Charlotte Bachman of Tarentum.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald R. Waugaman; and a daughter, Donna Waugaman.

<B>WAUGAMAN</B> — Relatives and friends of Lois M. Waugaman, who died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, may visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services</B>, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where additional visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday. Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at the Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church, 1006 Butler Road, Kittanning, with the Rev. Steven L. Wilson officiating.
