Calhoun back in UConn saddle
STORRS, Conn. — Jim Calhoun is back coaching the Connecticut Huskies.
Calhoun on Thursday returned to his duties coaching the men's basketball team after a medical leave of more than three weeks forced him to miss seven games.
A news release issued by the school said Calhoun has no restrictions on what he can do, and the 67-year-old Hall of Famer says he's looking forward to practice.
School officials have not said what was ailing Calhoun.
UConn has gone 3-4 in his absence. The Huskies are 14-10 overall and 4-7 in the Big East Conference.
