Ruby L. Christy, 96, of Transitions Health Care Autumn Grove, Harrisville, died Wednesday.

She was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Clintonville, to the late William R. and Maggie E. Hummel Edinger.

She married Lemoyne Christy in 1944; he died in 1981.

She was a homemaker, and was Pentecostal.

Surviving are one son, Dennis Christy and his wife, Sharlene, of Branchton, Pa., and numerous grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph and Larry Christy; two daughters, Phyllis Rodgers and an infant daughter, Joyce; and three sisters, Gladys McFadden, Alice Burk and Leota Burk.

CHRISTY — A memorial service for Ruby L. Christy, who died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, will be at the FICCA FUNERAL HOME, 203 E. Pine St., Grove City at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
