Join the Oil Region Astronomical Society to learn how to explore the night sky for planets and constellations showcasing the Butler Area Public Library's new Binocular Kits, which are provided by the society.

This is a two part event series. The first part will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at the library, with no registration required.

The second part of this series will be Sept. 17 at Preston Park, where the library and astronomical society will provide a program for a hands-on look at the night sky with binoculars and telescopes. Registration is required for the second part of this program series.
