William Lloyd

William Robert Lloyd, 70, of Slippery Rock, Clay Township, Butler County, passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 11, 1943, to Robert and Eileen Lloyd.

He married Shirley Warzinsky, who preceded him in death in 1989, and he later married Marion Rich who preceded in him in death in 2007.

Mr. Lloyd was a bus driver for the Pittsburgh Port Authority, and he retired in 2006.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a member of the West Sunbury American Legion.

Surviving are three daughters, Roslyn R. and her husband, Charles, Bunnell, of New Castle, and Melissa A. Lloyd and Julia L. Lloyd, both of Slippery Rock; a son, Robert Lloyd; and three granddaughters, Kristen M., Megan R. and Allison M. Bunnell, all of New Castle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives and a sister, Margaret.

LLOYD — The family of William Robert Lloyd, who passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, will receive friends at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock,from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Saturday.A memorial service will be at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Doug Stewart, youth pastor of the First Baptist Church in Grove City, officiating.
