Rev. Robert M. Bradley

Rev. Robert M. Bradley, 88, died Thursday at the Vincentian Home in Wexford.

Born on June 2, 1925, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Robert M. Bradley and Gertrude O. (Zabringer) Bradley.

Fr. Bradley was educated at St. Raphael School and Central Catholic School.

He then entered the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Alabama during the final three years of World War II.

Having completed the Seminary for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Calif., he was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest on May 3, 1957. He served at St. Ambrose in West Hollywood, Calif. He also taught Trigonometry and pre-calculus at the Archdiocese High School for 10 years. His last assignment was at SS. Felicitas and Perpetua in San Francisco, Calif., until June of 1995, when he went into retirement.

He then moved to Butler and lived and helped with Mass at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He enjoyed the outdoors as he was an avid hunter, fisherman and rifleman and was a lifetime member of the NRA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Bradley of Butler.

Bradley — Visitation for the Rev. Robert M. Bradley, who Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Michael Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Freeport.Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
