Ronald 'Mike' Joseph Langland

Ronald “Mike” Joseph Langland, 79, of Sebring, Fla., passed away on Dec. 4, 2013.

He was born in Butler to John and Lucy Langland.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1952.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He served more than 22 years before retiring in 1977.

Upon his retirement, he worked for the state of Pennsylvania as a hospital administrator in Camp Hill.

Mike was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, disabled veterans, U.S. Naval Memorial, the Masons and several social and athletic associations.

Mike is survived by his four children, Michael, Jeffrey, Andrea and James, and their mother, Lois. Also surviving are his brother, Paul, and his sister, Leora, both of Butler; his six grandchildren; and his three stepchildren.

LANGLAND — Ronald “Mike” Joseph Langland, who passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, will be interred in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County, Pa., at 11 a.m. on Jan. 7, 2014, with military honors.Arrangements are by the ICS Cremation Society.
