Elizabeth V. Guerra, 91, of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople, formerly of Avalon, died Friday morning.

Born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela Ranallo DiGioia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Guerra, who she married on May 10, 1952, and who died on July 7, 2008; three brothers; and one sister.

She was the beloved mother of Donna M. Harrold and her husband, George, of Espyville, Shirley A. Buchsbaum and her husband, Kenneth, of Acme and William F. Guerra and his wife, Ladonne, of Zelienople. She also is survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

GUERRA — Friends of Elizabeth V. Guerra, who died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
