Samuel W. Hendrickson Jr., 76, of Harmony died Friday night at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Ellwood City on July 1, 1937, he was the son of the late Samuel W. and Emma G. Major Hendrickson.

He was a Protestant.

Sam had worked for Kwik Fill in Barkeyville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Triance) Hendrickson; his three grandchildren; and his one brother.

He is survived by his two sons; his three daughters; his sister, with who he had made his home, Helen (Tom) Alwine of Butler; and his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
