Jeannie M. Stewart

Jeannie M. Stewart, a resident of Laurel, Md., and a former resident of Harmony, passed away Thursday.

Mrs. Stewart was born in New Brighton on Oct. 11, 1952, to Genevieve and the late Charles Leonburg.

She was a member of the Savage United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and worked as a caregiver at the Cedar Lane School in Howard County, Md.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Stewart is survived by her children, Dawna, Butch and Jeff Stewart; her sisters, JoAnn (Dave) Minett, Jackie (Bill) Rindle and Judy (Doug) Frederick; and her brothers, Chuck (Kimberly) Leonburg and Chris Leonburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly Stewart, James Musicant and Dalton Stewart.

Jeannie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry “Wes” Stewart Sr.

STEWART — A visitation for Jeannie M. Stewart, who died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, will be held on Sunday at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, Md., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.A visitation also will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Savage United Methodist Church, where services will begin at 11 a.m.Interment will be private.If desired, memorial donations may be made to Savage United Methodist Church, Window Fund, 9050 Baltimore St., Savage, MD 20763.
