Sara 'Peg' Bowser
Sara Margaret “Peg” Bowser, 71, of Powell, Tenn., formerly of Bruin, died Wednesday evening at the Physician's Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
Born on Nov. 24, 1942, in Parker, Peg was the daughter of the late Willis Arnold and Mary Jane Hilliard Bowser.
Peg was a graduate of Fairview Township Karns City High School and retired from Industrial Terminals in New Kensington, where she had been a bookkeeper.
Peg is survived by two brothers, Daniel A. Bowser and his wife, Marilyn Jo, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Joseph Bowser of Randlemon, N.C.; three nephews, Max H. Bowser of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Garret M. Bowser of Sterling, Va., and P. Mitchell Bowser of Richmond, Va.; as well as seven great-nieces and nephews.
BOWSER — Friends of Sara Margaret “Peg” Bowser, who died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday.
