Edwin Dennis 'Ed' Mansfield

Edwin Dennis “Ed” Mansfield, 59, of Renfrew passed away Saturday in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born on Aug. 7, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of Eugene and Joyce (Heffernan) Mansfield of Renfrew.

A true outdoorsman, Ed lived his life to hunt and fish. He was known to be a Jack-of-all-trades who perfected his masonry skills in his job as a concrete finisher. Above all, he was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Ed is survived by his son, Christopher Mansfield and his fiancee, Lisa, of Pittsburgh; his granddaughter, Victoria Mansfield; his brother, Donald Mansfield and his companion, Linda Mitchell, of Valencia; his sister, Cynthia J. Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Christina and Joshua Mansfield, and Jason and Justin Hernandez; his great-niece, Ava Hernandez; and great-nephew, Montgomery River Benz.

MANSFIELD — The services for Edwin Dennis “Ed” Mansfield, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, will be held privately by his family.The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
