Sara Margaret 'Peg' Bowser
Sara Margaret “Peg” Bowser, 71, of Powell, Tenn., formerly of Bruin, died Feb. 19 at the Physician's Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
Born on Nov. 24, 1942, in Parker, Peg was the daughter of the late Willis Arnold and Mary Jane Hilliard Bowser.
Peg was a graduate of Fairview Township Karns City High School and retired from Industrial Terminals in New Kensington, where she had been employed as a bookkeeper.
Peg is survived by two brothers, Daniel A. Bowser and his wife, Marilyn Jo, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Joseph C. Bowser of Randlemon, N.C.; his three nephews, Maxwell H. Bowser of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Garret M. Bowser of Sterling, Va., and P. Mitchell Bowser and his wife, Laura, of Richmond, Va.; and his two nieces, Lelia Bowser of Daytona, Fla., and Linzi Bowser of Melbourne, Fla. Also surviving are his two stepnieces, his six grandnieces and nephews, and his four step grandnieces and nephews.
Bowser — Friends of Sara Margaret “Peg” Bowser, who died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday.
