Mary Ellen Trefry of Middlesex Township passed away Feb. 13 while visiting her daughter in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Mary Ellen was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Aspinwall. She was the daughter of Clay C. and Louise A. Phalen of Rowland Heights, Calif.

Mary Ellen was a housewife, an active member of Middlesex Women's Club and a member of Mars Masonic Lodge 21 OES.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Trefry of Houston, Texas; her daughter, Mary Dawn Myers of Port Charlotte, Fla.; her granddaughter, Elisha Onysko and her husband Kevin of Punta Gordo, Fla.; her great-granddaughter, Celina Onysko of Punta Gordo, Fla., and her brother, Edward Phalen of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Trefry; her son, Calvin Trefry; her mother and father, and her five brothers.

Trefry— Mary Ellen Trefry, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, will be interred in Sarverville Cemetery, Sarver, alongside her husband, Donald, and her son, Calvin. A private family service will be at the grave site.
