MUDDY CREEK TWP — For the second year in a row Moraine State Park has been ranked as one of the best fishing and boating destinations in the U.S.

The Recreational Fishing and Boating Foundation recently released its list of America’s Top 100 Family Fishing and Boating Spots. Moraine is ranked 16th. Last year, it got 15th.

Moraine is one of eight destinations in Pennsylvania to make the list. Keystone State Park, Presque Isle State Park and Lackawanna State Park all cracked the top 10, while Nockamixon State Park, Little Buffalo State Park, John Heinz at Tinicum National Wildlife Refuge and Pymatuning State Park also made the list.

Earning the top spot on the list is Everglades State Park in Florida.
