Mildred Genevieve Cress, 82, of Butler passed away early Monday morning in Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born March 20, 1932, she was the daughter of the late DeWitt and Eleanor Grossman Cress.

She was a Protestant.

In 1987, she retired after working 18 years at Mellon Bank. Prior to that, she had worked 15 years at Nationwide in Butler.

She is survived by her brother, Robert (Dorothy) Cress of Butler; her sister-in-law, Annabel Cress of Butler; her dog, Zoey; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Russell, Ralph and DeWitt Cress.
