Mary L. (Jancic) Potemra, 84, of Butler, formerly of Baldwin, left this life Saturday to be rejoined with her husband, Edward Potemra.

She was born on July 30, 1929, in Glassport.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Kathleen) and David (Nyra) Potemra; her grandchildren, Mark (Dawn), Michael (Tammy), Brandon and Kacy (Matthew) Young; and her brothers, Samuel and John Jancic.

She loved to cook and to help people and she wanted to be remembered as everyone's mom.

Potemra — Visitation for Mary L. (Jancic) Potemra, who passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
