Josephine E. Nestler

It’s with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Josephine E. Nestler, 89, on Friday.

Born on Oct 16, 1924, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Mike and Josephine (Habuary) Schap.

Josephine spent her entire career as a teacher in the Greensburg Catholic Diocese school system.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, and her grandson, Kevin Nestler.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Tevis, Shirley (Ford) McLean, Albert P. (Kathy) Nestler Jr., and Wayne R. Nestler; her granddaughter, Andrea Nestler with whom she resided; her 20 other grandchildren, and her 39 great-grandchildren.
