Thomas E. Dixon

Thomas E. Dixon of Surprise, Ariz., passed away Sunday after a short illness.

Born in Butler on June 29, 1925, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Mary Dixon.

He is survived by his son, Tom Dixon of Taos, N.M., and his daughter, Sandra and her husband, Jack Cardon, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; his two grandchildren and his four great-grandchildren; his sister, Peggy Bowen of Butler; and his many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Dorothy L. Dixon of Colorado, the mother of his children.

He was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Dixon; his wife of 20 years, Betty Walter; and his siblings, Kathleen Cunningham McBride, Ruth Murphy, Sally Moore and Robert Dixon.
