Police, FBI seek help catching bank robber

Man described looking 'sickly'

CRANBERRY TWP — The FBI and Cranberry police are looking to the public for help identifying a man they said robbed the PNC Bank on Route 19 late Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities released surveillance photos of the suspect Thursday, in addition to an updated description of the man.

Police are seeking a white man in his mid-30s to mid-50s, about 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He is described as looking “sickly.”

According to law enforcement, the suspect entered the bank around 4:48 p.m., presented a teller with a note demanding money and indicating he had a gun. After the teller gave him money, he left the bank on foot, but was not apprehended as of Thursday afternoon.

Police are checking surveillance video from the area to see if a vehicle was involved.
