PITTSBURGH — B.J. Monteiro and Sean Johnson each scored 19 points as Duquesne held off St. Bonaventure 70-64 Wednesday night.

Monteiro and Johnson came off the bench to shoot 15 of 26 from the floor (57.7 percent), while their teammates combined to shoot 14 for 36 (38.9 percent).

T.J. McConnell added 12 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals for the Dukes (18-10, 10-5 Atlantic 10 Conference), who scored 26 points off 23 turnovers.

Andrew Nicholson and Ogo Adegboye each scored 12 points for the Bonnies (15-13, 7-8), who shot 51.2 percent from the field (21 of 41). Matthew Wright added 11 points.
