GREENVILLE — The Butler Sting 16-under girls fastpitch softball team finished second in the eight-team Thiel Winter Fest Tournament Saturday.

The second-place finish solidifies the Sting’s seeding at the NSA 2014 World Series in Spartanburg, S.C., this July.

Team members include Emily McDonald, Noel Pfabe, Ashley Coon, Jennifer Miller, Alexis Schmeider, Kaitlyn Barnett, Allie Green, Clara Stoughton, Sadie Moore and Taylor Downs.
