Robert M. Weleski, 84, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer.

Born Sept. 9, 1941, in Cabot, he was the son of Martin W. Weleski Sr. and Anna Blascheck Weleski.

Bob was the last of seven owners of the family business, Winfield Lime and Stone. He also owned and operated Weleski Tire for many years. He was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, in Cabot, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved restoring cars, hunting, roller skating, coaching kids sports, gardening, farming, watching the Steelers and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Katherine J. McGuire Weleski, whom he married Nov. 24, 1962; his children, Michelle (Larry) Lesniak, of Butler, Susan (Don) Bergbigler, of Cabot, Robert M. (Katy) Weleski Jr., of Cabot, Sandy (Dan) Lapiana, of Glenshaw, Tracie Rudek, of Cranberry Township, Tammy (Josh) May, of Renfrew, and Michael M. (Bridget) Weleski, of Butler; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, Terry Rudek; and he was the last surviving of 12 children.

WELESKI — Friends of Robert M. Weleski, who died Saturday, June 13, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, with Father Ward Stakem officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Herman.
