Lois L. Kemp
Lois L. Kemp, 78, of Kittanning passed away Monday in Altmeyer's Country Rest Home after losing her battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lois was born on June 15, 1936, in Fenelton to the late Carl H. and Mary Cannon Kemp.
She graduated from Worthington West Franklin High School in 1955, then retired from the telephone company in Kittanning after 37 years of service.
A very devout Catholic, Lois was a member of the St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Kittanning.
She enjoyed traveling, dancing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruth (Bill) Eyth of Fenelton and Kathleen (Al) Davis of Prospect; her sister-in-law, Beverly Kemp of Worthington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Carl John Kemp and Donald Robert Kemp; her two sisters, Betty Jean Murray and Margaret “Peggy” Fauset; and her fiance, Byron “Barney” Lowmaster.
Kemp— At her request, there will be no public viewing for Lois L. Kemp, who passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2014.A public memorial Mass will be announced. Interment will be in the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery, Coylesville.The F.
